First & foremost, search engines already love blogs, especially wordpress blogs. Why? Because of the way the links are being structured, the constantly updated content & much more.
Wordpress out of the box, without a single modification or module (a.k.a plugin) is already good for SEO (search engine optimization). I have talked about this numerous times, whether it is with potential clients, clients or other virtual assistants. There are so many advantages of switching over your current website to a blog. Here a few reasons why you should switch over today.
Updates: to update a website, you need an application like Macromedia Dreamweaver. To do more advanced website changes, you will need to hire a programmer if you don’t have those skills. With a Wordpress blog, it’s as easy as going to a tab called “Presentation” and updating the necessary information. When I first started using Wordpress, I thought the layout was easy and everything was right there for me. It was easy to add categories, posts, and pages. Do you think too much about the length of your blog posts? Do you choose long or short posts for your blog? The length of blog posts can have a psychological impact on the readers.
Many bloggers have blog posts less than 200 words, while others prefer 500-900 word posts. Blog posts with 350-450 words are more common.

When I first started with my Wordpress blog I didn’t realise there were so many additional features that you can add to the blog. Here’s a list of the ten plugins I’ve found most useful in the blog for my travel business.
1 Subscribe to comments - This allows readers to receive updates on any comments made on a post, so they can keep in touch with ongoing discussions. You want to get readers involved with your posts so this is plugin is essential.

I regularly post to 6 blogs and because I didn’t want to get overwhelmed, I devised a system that works for me and will probably work for you too whether you post to one or more than one blog.
