Once you really start scaling out your new internet marketing empire, one of the first major obstacles you are going to have to cross is what I refer to as the “Content Crisis”. Everyone that I know, without fail who has built a successful series of small niche sites has at one time or another had to stretch a bit to add new, informative and entertaining bit of information to their website or blog. We all just hit a wall - it’s really that simple. If you cover a particular topic thirteen ways from Wednesday - at some point, topic burnout sets in. Thankfully, the very basic dynamic nature of the web is your best friend, and you can set your site up to simply piggyback off of others within your niche when it gets a little bit sleepy..:-) Let’s take a quick look at 2 of them. Okay, so you want to start your own blog. So where exactly do you start? Basically there are two options open to you:
1. You sign up with a free blogging service like WordPress (not to be confused with the blogging software). It’s free and it only takes a few minutes to sign up. Once that’s done you can blog away. The only problem with this is that you can’t have your own domain name - you can but it will cost you $15 a year. So if you’re happy with that then get blogging.
2. You have a domain name and a hosted account, which supports MySQL, and PHP and you want total control over your blog. In this case then, there is no question but to use WordPress (the software), it is simply the best. Read the rest of this entry »

Did you know there is a new open source community project underway called the WordPress Plugin Database, which is a user-friendly web site with about 2,500 WordPress plugins and counting?

For developers, wp-plugins.net makes it easy to publicize your plugin and keep users informed of new versions.” Read the rest of this entry »

However, both bloggers share a similar characteristic: “they like what they like.” For those bloggers it’s important to stay up-to-speed on the things which interest them most.
With RSS becoming the main stream method of information gathering, RSS quickly becomes the main stream channel of information overload. RSS allows a blogger or webmaster to receive the most current information from the sites they enjoy the most. However, not all the information is relevant to the bloggers interests. This is where a RSS filter or feed filter becomes an invaluable asset to the blogger. Read the rest of this entry »

If you wish to divert loads of traffic to your site but don’t want to spend too much on it, then try these low cost methods to generate top quality content. Why spend your hard earned dollar on something you can get at a low cost!
a. Freelance writers
One of the best ways to reduce the overall cost of generating content is by leveraging the services of freelance writers. You can simply outsource the project details along with the assignment to these writers at a fraction of the price. Most of these writers are of top quality and can churn out superior content. The best thing about outsourcing projects is that you can have multiple writers bid on a single project - thereby allowing you to select the one with the lowest bid. This way, you can provide the project work to the writer with the best quality and lowest bid. On the whole, outsourcing allows you to leverage top quality work at low cost rates.
